#ldnghosthunt came about after a photo, a book and too much spare time (full story here).

#ldnghosthunt is a semi-regular ghost walk organised by @lurkmoophy around the nice and not-so-nice parts of London. Usually organised via Twitter, they take place when the sun goes down and usually last anywhere between 2 to 5 or 6 hours, depending on the walk in question. Traditionally, a #ldnghosthunt is fashioned around a series of haunted pubs, with some interesting stops and stories between. However, walks have been known to feature no pubs along the route, making for a shorter and far less easily scared crowd (However, it is always advisable to end in a pub).
